Business SupportWhether you would like to open a new business in Sale, are thinking of relocating to the town or want to make the most of your current business investment, there are a number of support services to help you. With excellent links to the national motorway and road networks, easy access by Metrolink and bus and only 15 minutes from Manchester Airport, Sale also offers a number of car parks, supplemented recently by a new car park at Broad Road offering more than 440 spaces, excellent customer facilities, a clean, bright and welcoming environment and a range of parking options which include free short term parking as well as season tickets/permit parking to assist businesses in the town.

Sale has a variety of commercial premises and retail units at competitive rental levels and there is a wide range of businesses currently operating in the town from national retailers to a cosmopolitan selection of food and drink outlets in addition to unique and specialist, independent shops.

There have also been a number of recent physical developments, including the Sale Waterside complex and increased private sector investment in the town which has boosted its attractiveness and enhanced the shopping and visiting experience.

The government websites, www.statistics.gov.uk and www.neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk will assist you in finding out more about a whole range of date including employment, qualification levels, health, crime, population, housing, planning and transport for the Sale area. The wards that make up the Sale area are Ashton on Mersey, Brooklands, Priory (which covers the town centre), St Mary’s and Sale Moor.
